Punt, Pass, & Kick 2022

Age Groups:  

-       5-6 years olds                               

-       7-8 years olds

-       9-10 year olds

-       11-12 years olds

-       13-14 years olds                           

Format:

-       1^st Round – Every participant will punt, pass, and kick.  The total number of yards combined will be tallied.  Each player will be placed within their age division into 2-3 groups for the second round.

-       2^nd Round – There will be 2-3 even groups and they will compete against each other.  The winner of each group will advance to the Championship round.

-       3^rd Round – This will be the Championship Round.  Each winner from the 2^nd round will have a 3^rd and final round of Punt, Pass, and Kick.  The player with the most combine yards in the 3^rd round will be the Champion for that age group.

-       Tiebreaker – In the event of a tiebreaker in the 2nd round, the player’s combined yardage from the first round will be added.  The highest combined yards from both rounds will move on.  In the event of a tie in the Championship round, the combined yardage from the 1^st and 2^nd round will be added.  Whoever has the most combined yards throughout the entire event, will win the Championship.

PPK Rules:

-        For the punt and pass, the player has a 5 yard window to run up and throw or punt the ball.  The player cannot cross the start line.

-        If the player crosses the line, the attempt will not count.

-        For the kick, the tee will be set up on the start line.  The player has a 5 yard window to run up and kick the ball.

-        The punt will take place between the sideline and the hash mark.  The pass will take place between the hash mark and hash mark.  The kick will take place between the hash mark and sideline. When punting, passing, and kicking, in order for the attempt to count, the ball must land between the designated areas.  If the ball lands on the line or hash mark, the attempt counts.  If the ball lands outside of the designated area, the attempt does not count.

-        The yardage total will be marked from where the ball lands, not where it ends up.

-        Players get one attempt per skill per round.  There is no redo.
