Jr. Pee Wee Skill evaluations-Date Changed to June 18th

There will be a skills evaluation on June 18th at 7:00PM at Speed Pursuit located at 1606 William Leigh Dr, Tullytown, PA 19007. (Make a right after the Tullytown Firehouse, follow road till you  get to the water and Speed Pursuit is in the building to your right)

This is for only our Jr Pee Wee (115lb team) since we have so many boys dedicated to football at this level. If you have players on other teams, they need not come. This email is only going to those registered for Jr. Pee Wee, if you are not registered and neither paid in full or have set up payment arrangements with myself, you will not be evaluated.

These are not try outs, just an evaluation to see what team your child will be placed on. Jr. Pee Wee is the first level of competition football. There will be playoffs, championships and in some cases, regional playoffs and inter league play. One of our teams will be placed in Division 1(possibly 2 if there are 4 divisions), while the other is placed in 3(possibly 4). The higher the division, the tougher the competition. That is the only difference between teams. Both teams will receive the same number of game, not including any potential bye. The purpose of these evaluations is to make sure the right kids are on the right team not only for the success of the team, but the success of player while making sure they are happy and safe.

Kids who already played on the higher division team will mostly likely keep their spot, but still need to be present at evaluation (we will also do jersey fitting). Any player who did not play with Joe Goldey last year who doesn't make the evaluation will not be considered to play on his team this year. While we'd like to keep friends together, they will not be considered in making the teams.

Please wear shorts, t-shirt and sneakers. No cleats as we will be inside on turf. We will start with weighing the kids in to make sure they are not near max weight for their age (115lbs for 10 and under, 95lbs for 11 year olds, all ages are as of July 31st 2018). They will then be put into groups and run through some drills by the coaches and staff of Speed Pursuit such as the 40, long jump, ECT. After that, they will work with the coaches to be evaluated on some football skills.

Parent will not be allowed in during the evaluations, only coaches for Jr. Pee Wee(If you coach another level doesn't mean you can come in) because room is limited.

Please let me know (not Turchi or Goldey or any other coach) if you are unable to make it so I can alert the coaches and make arrangements for a jersey fitting.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
