Penndel/Neshaminy Merger Possibility

We have been actively speaking with the executive board of Penndel's Athletic Association's baseball/softball division. Both Penndel and Neshaminy are enthusiastically interested in merging the two leagues together. There are many reasons for wanting to merge the two neighboring Little Leagues and all of them relate to providing the BEST sports program for all children in our communities, now and well into the future.

That being said, we all consider this to be a big undertaking and realize it will require a lot of hard work from both organizations in order for this to happen successfully. Jamie, John, Andy and I and the executive team from Neshaminy are committed to meeting with each other as much as possible to make this happen. We have met three times so far and have requested a meeting with the district president, Gary Minster, to review the steps involved for merging the leagues. We intend to have full discussions with both league Boards, and the community, as we move through this process.

At this point we wanted to make you aware of the current state of these discussions and the promising opportunity that is becoming available to us. The mission statements for both leagues are fully supported by all and the main goal is to ensure we can provide a welcome environment for all the kids. 2010 Baseball Registration

Walk-in baseball registrations will take place the last two Saturdays in January and the first three Saturdays in February from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.

Pre-Season Baseball Clinics

Saturday, January 9 we will start our pre-season baseball clinic at Bucks County Baseball Academy. If you will participate, go to their website www.buckscountybaseball.com to complete the Player Waiver for Team Rental to be able participate. This should be completed prior to coming. 

This clinic is free for all registered players with Penndel Wildcat Baseball. To register for the upcoming baseball season click on the Registration Info link under Baseball.

This week's schedule Sat 1/9 is as follows:
Sat at 9am will be Major Boys (10-12yr old)
10am will be junior boys (13-15yrs old). 

The following week, Sat 1/16:
9am will be Rookie kids (6-7 yr old)
Minor kids (8-9 yr old) will be at 10am.
